Materials and Manufacturing Processes

Aluminum Alloy Substrate

  • Material Selection: Carefully selected 5000 series (e.g., AA5005) and 3000 series (e.g., AA3003) primary aluminum alloy ingots. These alloys offer excellent formability and corrosion resistance while providing higher strength and suitable work-hardening rates, making them the ideal choice for ceiling materials

  • Manufacturing Process:

    1. Hot Rolling & Cold Rolling: Utilizes multi-pass hot rolling for initial shaping and precision cold rolling for final forming, ensuring panel flatness and maintaining thickness tolerance within ±0.03mm, providing a perfect surface for subsequent precise perforation and coating

    2. Heat Treatment: Through work-hardening treatment, the material's yield strength and elongation are optimized, providing the flexibility needed for installation and the rigidity to resist deformation during use

  • Performance Advantages: The resulting substrate features low density (approx. 2.7g/cm³), high strength, and excellent corrosion resistance, laying a solid foundation for the product's lightweight nature, long service life, and outstanding structural stability

Surface Treatment Processes

  • Polyester Powder Coating (PE):

    • Process: Electrostatic spray technology is used to uniformly apply environmentally friendly polyester powder onto the pre-treated aluminum panel surface, followed by curing at approximately 200°C

    • Features: The coating is uniform in thickness, offers a rich color palette, has excellent leveling properties, and provides outstanding scratch and chemical resistance. It is cost-effective and ideal for standard indoor office environments

  • Polyvinylidene Fluoride Coating (PVDF):

    • Process: Using polyvinylidene fluoride resin as the main component, a multi-layer coating process (typically primer, topcoat, clear coat) is applied and cured at higher temperatures

    • Features: Possesses exceptional weather resistance, UV resistance, and self-cleaning properties. The stable molecular structure of the coating ensures 15-20 years of resistance to chalking and fading. Suitable for office spaces with significant UV exposure (e.g., those with glass curtain walls, skylights) or areas with stringent cleanliness requirements

  • Anodizing:

    • Process: A dense aluminum oxide ceramic layer is formed on the aluminum substrate surface through electrolysis

    • Features: Offers a strong metallic feel, extremely high hardness, and excellent abrasion and scratch resistance. The color is permanent. Colors are achieved through electrolytic coloring or dyeing, resulting in a modern, high-tech aesthetic

  • Laminating / Film Application:

    • Process: High-performance pre-coated films (PVC, PET, or PP) are laminated onto the aluminum panel surface

    • Features: Enables rich, three-dimensional textures and patterns such as wood grain, stone, and fabric finishes. Highly decorative with a warm tactile feel, the protective film itself also offers certain stain and scratch resistance

  • Centrifugal Glass Wool:

    • Structure: A three-dimensional, fluffy, porous matrix woven from fine glass fibers (typically <6µm in diameter

    • Performance: Offers excellent sound absorption, particularly effective for mid-to-high-frequency noise. It achieves a Class A fire rating (non-combustible), is moisture-resistant, corrosion-resistant, and chemically stable. It is one of the most widely used acoustic backing materials.   • Stone Wool / Mineral Wool

    • Source: Manufactured by melting natural raw materials like basalt roc

    • Performance: Also a Class A non-combustible material, it offers superior high-temperature resistance​ and better hydrophobicity (water repellency). Its coarser fibers can provide advantages for absorbing low to mid-frequency noise. Its relatively rigid structure ensures good flatness when combined with aluminum panel

  • Composite Acoustic Structures

    • For spaces with specific acoustic requirements (e.g., executive boardrooms, auditoriums), we can provide composite structures such as "perforated aluminum panel + acoustic non-woven fabric + air cavity + sound-absorbing wool." By adjusting the air cavity depth and material combination, targeted absorption of specific frequency bands (e.g., low-frequency noise) can be achieved
